MAIA PlusDocumentation

New in MAIA Plus 1.1.0

One installer.
A clearer path to your first deployment.

All-in-One brings the MAIA application, Windows prerequisites and ServiceDesk Plus integration together. Less switching between tools, more guidance at every stage.

Windows x64Standard / BaselineLocal and remote SDP

What All-in-One includes

  • The MAIA application, installed through MAIA-MAINTENANCE with signed-package verification.
  • PostgreSQL, pgvector and Python prerequisites, with a choice of components rather than an all-or-nothing setup.
  • ServiceDesk Plus integration helpers for proxy setup and supported PostgreSQL connectivity.
  • A final handout with the values needed to complete the WebUI Setup Wizard.

It is a guided administrator installer, not a silent deployment that changes your environment without review.

A guided flow, not a collection of separate steps

  1. Discover and review

Select the MAIA address and destination directory. Review detected services and the SDP location.

  2. Choose what to install

Use Full installation for a fresh environment, or the supported component modes where appropriate. Select Baseline on hardware without AVX2.

  3. Connect ServiceDesk Plus

For local SDP, review the proxy and database changes. For remote SDP, use the generated bundle on that server.

  4. Verify and finish in WebUI

Review connectivity checks, then configure your administrator account, license, integrations and AI model in the browser.

You stay in control

Stages require administrator review and confirmation. The installer supports resuming completed stages after an interrupted run. The information mode lets you inspect the environment and plan without installing the application or changing services or the database.

Review the impact on ServiceDesk Plus

Proxy deployment may require an SDP Tomcat restart, which is not performed automatically. Review database access rules, especially proposed trust rules, with your DBA. Protect generated credentials and handouts.

Is it the right package for you?

Choose All-in-One for a new Windows deployment. If MAIA is already installed, use the platform ZIP and upgrade procedure instead. Do not reinstall infrastructure just to update the application.

All-in-One is for Windows; Linux uses its own signed package and administrator installation procedure. Some integrations still require local resources, credentials and policy decisions — no installer can choose those safely on your behalf.
